Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Appvora Digital LLC FZ collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit appvora-digital.com or contact us. It also explains your rights and how to exercise them.

1.Who we are

This website is operated by Appvora Digital LLC FZ, a digital agency licensed by Creative City Free Zone, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. In this policy, we, us and our mean Appvora Digital LLC FZ.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This means we decide why and how that data is used, and we are responsible for protecting it.

If you have any questions about this policy or about how we handle your personal data, please email us at admin@appvora-digital.com.

2.Scope

This policy applies to visitors to appvora-digital.com and to people who contact us, for example by submitting our contact form or sending us an email.

It does not cover personal data we process inside client projects, such as data about the users of an app we build or the audiences of a campaign we manage. That processing is governed by our contract with the client concerned. In those projects, we usually act as a processor on behalf of the client, and the client's own privacy policy explains how the data is used.

3.Data we collect

We collect personal data directly from you, for example when you fill in our contact form or email us, and automatically when you use our website, subject to your cookie choices. It falls into the following categories:

  • Contact form data: your name, email address, company, the services you are interested in, your budget range, your message, the source of your enquiry and the date and time you sent it.
  • Technical and usage data: only if you choose 'Accept all' in our cookie banner, we collect your approximate location (derived from your IP address), your device and browser type, the pages you view and the website that referred you to us.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: information stored on or read from your device, as described in the 'Cookies and tracking' section.
  • Emails and messages: the content of emails and other messages you send us, together with your contact details and any attachments.

When you load our website, our hosting and content delivery providers also process your IP address and basic request data. This is needed to deliver the site to you and to protect it from abuse.

We do not knowingly collect special category or sensitive personal data, such as information about your health, religious beliefs, ethnic origin or biometric data. Please do not include this kind of information in forms or messages you send us.

You do not have to give us any personal data. However, we cannot reply to an enquiry without your contact details.

6.Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, which are small pieces of code that send information about your visit to an analytics or advertising platform. We group them into three categories:

CategoryExamplesPurposeSet when
EssentialTheme preference, cookie consent choiceMake the site function and remember your settingsAlways
AnalyticsGoogle Analytics 4Understand how the site is usedOnly after you choose 'Accept all'
MarketingMeta Pixel, TikTok PixelMeasure ad campaigns and build audiencesOnly after you choose 'Accept all'

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner offers two choices: 'Accept all' and 'Reject non-essential'. Analytics and marketing technologies stay switched off unless you choose 'Accept all', while essential technologies are always active because the site needs them to work. Choosing 'Reject non-essential' does not limit your use of the website.

We store your choice for 12 months, after which we ask you again. You can change your choice at any time through 'Cookie settings' in the website footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then not work as intended.

If you choose 'Accept all', Google, Meta and TikTok process the data they collect under their own terms and privacy policies, and Meta and TikTok may combine it with other information they hold about you.

7.Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the following recipients, and only as far as needed for the purposes in this policy:

  • Hosting and content delivery providers that host our website and deliver it to you.
  • Our database provider, which stores contact form submissions.
  • Our email provider, which handles the emails we send and receive.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms, namely Google, Meta and TikTok, but only if you choose 'Accept all'.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, who are bound by duties of confidentiality.
  • Public authorities, courts and regulators, when the law requires us to share data with them.

Our hosting, database and email providers process personal data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it and to use it only to provide their services to us.

We never sell your personal data.

8.International transfers

We are registered in the United Arab Emirates, so your personal data is processed under UAE law. Our service providers may also process it in the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States.

When personal data is transferred to another country, we rely on contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, or on equivalent mechanisms recognised by the law that applies.

Under the PDPL, we transfer personal data outside the UAE only to countries that provide an adequate level of protection, or where appropriate safeguards are in place.

You can ask for more information about these safeguards by emailing admin@appvora-digital.com.

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@appvora-digital.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on your request. We will reply within 30 days. We do not charge a fee unless the law allows it, for example where a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UAE Data Office. If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

11.Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including:

  • TLS encryption for data in transit between your browser and our website.
  • Access controls, so that only authorised people can access personal data.
  • Row-level security on our database, so that each request can reach only the records it is permitted to access.
  • Least-privilege access, so that people and systems have only the access they need for their role.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires us to do so.

12.Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses. They are not directed at anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If we discover that we have collected personal data from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe this has happened, please contact us at admin@appvora-digital.com.

14.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when our website, our service providers or the law change. We will publish the new version on this page with a new 'Last updated' date.

If we make material changes, we will highlight them clearly on the website. Where a change affects processing based on your consent, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.

15.Contact

If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise your rights, please email us at admin@appvora-digital.com.
